Facebook & WhatsApp Data
Ficto Chat integrates with Meta's WhatsApp Business API and offers Facebook Login for tenant authentication. This section explains how we handle data obtained through these integrations.
Facebook Login
When you choose to sign in or register using Facebook Login, we request access to your public profile and email address. We use this information solely to:
- Create or authenticate your Ficto Chat account
- Pre-fill your name and email in your account profile
- Issue a secure session token for dashboard access
We do not post to your Facebook profile, access your friends list, or store your Facebook access token beyond the authentication session.
WhatsApp Business API
Ficto Chat connects to the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API on behalf of tenant businesses. Through this integration we process:
- Incoming and outgoing WhatsApp messages on behalf of connected businesses
- Customer phone numbers (WhatsApp IDs) and display names
- Message content for the purpose of AI-generated responses and conversation history
- WhatsApp Business Account credentials (encrypted and stored securely)
Meta Platform Policy Compliance
Our use of Meta APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms and WhatsApp Business Policy. We do not use WhatsApp message data to serve advertisements or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

International Data Transfers
Though we operate from the UAE, our service infrastructure and providers may reside in other countries including the United States and European Union. By using our site or services, you consent to such data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

Data Deletion
You have the right to request permanent deletion of all personal data Fictora Labs holds about you — at any time and at no cost. This includes data collected through Facebook Login, Ficto Chat, or any other Fictora product.
To submit a deletion request, email admin@fictoralabs.ae with the subject Data Deletion Request and include the email address or Facebook account linked to your Fictora account.
How It Works
Submit Your Request
Email admin@fictoralabs.ae with subject line Data Deletion Request. Include the email or Facebook account associated with your Fictora account.
Identity Verification
We respond within 48 hours to verify your identity and confirm the scope — account only, or all associated data including conversations and knowledge base.
Deletion Confirmed
Once verified, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when complete.
What Gets Deleted & When
Some data may be retained longer if required by UAE law or for fraud prevention. We will inform you if this applies.

Children's Privacy
Our services and website are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted their data without consent, please contact us promptly.

Security
We implement reasonable industry-standard measures to protect your data, including AES-256 encryption for stored credentials and HTTPS for all data in transit. However, due to inherent risks in digital communications, we cannot guarantee absolute data security.
